Vishnu Temple

The Vishnu temple is located at the foot of the hill half a phalanx from the eastern side of Manikgad, which enjoys the beauty of nature in the distance. This temple is also known as Mankya Devi temple. The temple faces east and is divided into mandap and gabhara. Probability: Part of the Mukhamandapa may have been in front but today it is completely ruined. There are 25 ornate pillars in the mandapa area, 4 of which have beautiful carvings of bearers and the rest of the pillars have an inverted naga symbol at the top. The ceiling of the auditorium has padamavitana markings in some areas. The Gabhara is divided into two parts, the Lingapinda in the northern part and the idol of Sheshashahi Vishnu in the southern part. Adjacent to the temple, there is a tank on the south side and its construction is made of stone. The pillars of the Vishnu temple, the pashya on the roof and the statue of Vishnu in terms of science consider the Hemadpanthi establishment in AD. The temple was built in the 13th century.
