However, it is important to note that this price reduction is applicable only on 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders, not on domestic ones.

After the latest revision, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has now come down to ₹1,580. Earlier, the price of the same cylinder was ₹1,631.50. The new prices have become effective starting September 1, 2025.

Revised LPG Gas Cylinder Price

According to the new pricing details, OMCs have reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders by ₹51.50 per unit. Beginning September 1, the retail selling price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi stands at ₹1,580.

On the other hand, the price of the commonly used 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has not been changed. This means that household consumers will continue to pay the same amount as before, whereas hotels, restaurants, and commercial establishments using the larger 19 kg cylinders will directly benefit from the reduced cost.

Impact of the Latest Price Cut

The reduction in commercial LPG cylinder prices is expected to bring direct benefits to businesses in the food and hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, canteens, and catering services. Since these establishments rely heavily on LPG for cooking and other needs, the monthly cost savings could be significant.

While households have not received any relief this time, the stability in domestic LPG prices ensures that consumers are not burdened with any additional expenses.
